Barry Thomas

 

Barry has practiced for McCulloch & Partners since 1969 in both Invercargill and Queenstown providing clients with financial and corporate advice. He has been involved in setting up a number of new businesses, particularly in tourism, meat processing and the commissioning of the first casino in New Zealand.

Barry has lead our insolvency team and has undertaken a number of receiverships and liquidations for banks and other institutions. In 1994 he was awarded the New Zealand Tourism Board’s Sir Jack Newman award for "an individual’s outstanding contribution to New Zealand Tourism".
