Mark returned to McCulloch & Partners at the end of 2006 after spending 5 years living in London. Mark was first employed as a graduate accountant by McCulloch & Partners Invercargill in 1997 Mark was with McCulloch and Partners for 2 and a half years before moving to Dunedin where he worked for Chartered Accountants Harvie Green Wyatt for 3 years. After 5 and a half years working for Chartered Accountancy firms, Mark travelled to London to broaden his general business skills and experience. Mark’s first position in London was with the UK’s leading political information and policy communication specialists Dods Parliamentary Communication Limited. Mark held office as Financial Controller for 2 years before being recruited to take a Financial Controller position with Twickenham Experience Limited, a joint venture company between the England Rugby Football Union and Compass Group UK & Ireland Plc. Twickenham Experience is the largest corporate hospitality operation in the UK. Mark was with Twickenham Experience Limited for 3 years and returned to New Zealand and McCulloch & Partners in December last year.Business Experience Mark had a broad base of knowledge and experience from working in Chartered Accountancy offices and the Corporate Sector. Mark has great depth in experience working with Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Sole Traders, Taxation, Farm Accounting and until recently has been heavily involved with ‘hands on’ business experience in his Financial Controller positions. During his time at Twickenham Experience Limited Mark was heavily involved with the England Rugby Football Union’s new South Stand development at Twickenham including planning, financing and financial forecasting for the new Hospitality and Event Management facilities. It has always been Mark’s intention to return to public practice and use his business skills for the benefit of clients. Mark has a particular interest in management accounting, and likes to build relationships with clients not just as their accountant but also as their business partner. Hobbies
